The International Jewellery Fair (IJF) has secured two key sponsorship agreements ahead of the 19-21 August industry gathering in Sydney.
Shree Ram Krishna (SRK), a leading supplier of both natural and lab-created diamonds is a ‘diamond’ level sponsor while diamond jewellery manufacturer AV Diamonds will support the IJF as a ‘platinum’ level sponsor.
AV Diamonds was formed in the US in 1998 and specialises in bridal jewellery under the leadership of CEO Alex Malik and president Vinay Kotak.
SRK meanwhile is based in Surat, the world’s largest diamond cutting and polishing centre, and has more than 50 years of experience in the trade. The company is led by founder Govind Dholakia.
Expertise Events managing director Gary Fitz-Roy told Jeweller he admired the respective commitment of SRK and AV Diamonds in supporting and elevating the jewellery trade in Australia.
“We are excited to have SRK and AV Diamonds as our diamond and platinum sponsors for the International Jewellery Fair,” he said.
“Their commitment to excellence in the jewellery industry makes them a perfect fit for our event, and we look forward to working with them to create an unforgettable experience for our attendees.”
The IJF will be hosted at the ICC in Darling Harbour over three days. More than 140 exhibitors took part in the 2022 edition and Fitz-Roy said that this year’s event will be larger.
“We have already had to expand the floor area to accommodate increased demand, and the 2023 IJF will have the biggest number of exhibitors in the past decade,” he said.
Expertise Events recently revealed the details of an agreement with the Design Centre Enmore (TAFE NSW) to promote young jewellers who will demonstrate their skills and passion for the craft, with visitors given the opportunity to witness their creativity and innovation.
