German Cuckoo Clock Nest (GCCN) has acquired exclusive distribution rights for Pierre Lannier watches in Australia.
Based in Queensland, GCCN distributes a range of European clock brands to retail partners nationwide via its distribution network. These include Hermle, Engstler, Trenkle, Hekas, Comitti, Kieninger, and AMS.
The company also has its own retail store in Tamborine Mountain and deals directly with consumers via an online store.
This partnership with Pierre Lannier is a new approach for GCCN. While the company retails a variety of watch brands directly to consumers, this partnership is the first available for wholesale distribution to Australian retailers.
Managing director Stefanie Wernekinck said that after a tour of the company’s factory, it was clear that the brand was an ideal fit.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Pierre Lannier,” she told Jeweller.
“Their dedication to craftsmanship and innovation mirrors our own values, making this collaboration a natural fit.”
She added: “Securing the sole distributorship of Pierre Lannier watches in Australia reinforces our position as a premier destination for watch enthusiasts seeking both style and substance.”
Pierre Lannier was founded in France in 1977. The brand offers watches in a range of styles – including minimalist designs such as the Essential, Candide, and Ariane collections, as well as more extravagant pieces in the Automatic, Baron, and Eolia collections.
GCCN will launch Pierre Lannier at the International Jewellery Fair (IJF) in Sydney later this year.
Wernekinck said she was excited to offer visitors the chance to experience the artistry and precision of Pierre Lannier timepieces firsthand.
“We look forward to unveiling the Pierre Lannier collection at the International Jewellery Fair,” she said.
“It presents an ideal platform to introduce these exceptional watches to the Australian market and establish enduring relationships with our customers.”
