A 41.36-carat Graff diamond ring is set to make headlines at the upcoming Christie’s Geneva auction.
The square emerald-cut, D-colour, VVS1-clarity diamond, will enter the Magnificent Jewels auction on 8 November with a pre-sale estimate of $US5 million ($AU7.8 million).
Several other diamonds will also feature prominently, including an unmounted modified shield brilliant-cut, 101.27-carat, F-colour, VVS1-clarity diamond with pre-sale estimate of $US3.5 million ($AU5.46 million).
The star attraction at the auction will undoubtedly be the Fortune Pink.
The 18-carat pear-shaped fancy vivid pink diamond carries a presale estimate of $US35 million ($AU54 million).
It’s believed the Fortune Pink may break the record once set by the 18-carat Winston Pink Legacy, which sold to jeweller Harry Winston for $US50.4 million in 2018, setting a world record per-carat price for a pink diamond.
