Designed by Victor Brenner in honor of the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and first to display the image of a real person, this historical penny used to be introduced in 1909. Ours are dated from 1934 to 1958. This exquisite collection includes the rare and beautiful Lincoln Steel Penny which used to be only minted within the year 1943 as copper used to be needed for the war effort. Except for the 1943 Lincoln Steel Cent, these Lincoln wheat-ear pennies were minted of 95% copper. Features a Certificate of Authenticity.
